ETAN G – FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (and curator of the best musicians and music you’re about to hear)

Hi! My name is Etan G and I am, and always have been, The Jewish Rapper! I’ve had an illustrious career as a performer. I’ve rocked stages all over the world for over 25 years! Most notably I’ve appeared on the Howard Stern Show and I’ve gotten kicked off the Chabad Telethon. I’ve also had the privilege to do sound and PA systems, tech, merch and video for many bands and have helped produce many festivals and concerts. Needless to say, I’ve acquired many talents and skills in the entertainment business over the years.

Most importantly, for the purposes of this bio, I’ve amassed, cultivated and maintained so many amazing relationships, and lifelong friendships, with so many super talented musicians. Many of whom have played(ing) with, and for, some of the greatest artists and bands in music!

Now it’s time for me to take all those skills that I’ve learned, and lived, over all these years of performing and working behind the scenes, along with all those relationships with musicians and other talented people that I’ve been blessed with, and do something great!

I’ve started a non profit called “Rock4Israel” which raises money to bring notable musicians to Israel, to see and experience Israel, to give them a firsthand perspective of Israel and to rock the hell out of Israel! It is not about politics. It’s about the music! This will also benefit the people of Israel because they don’t get to rock as much as they need to!

Modeled after the very successful Comedy for Koby, where comedians do shows and get to see Israel, the Rock4Israel musicians will do concerts, meet the people and experience the land! Much the same way people need to laugh I believe even more need to rock!

I remain a hard core Howard Stern fan! A die hard Rush fan! I love South Park. I dig old school super heroes and sci-fi. I love comedy. I spend too much time deciding which lotions, oils and exfoliants to use. More than anything, I love music! I prefer the kind a human being makes – not a computer. It is the humans I will be bringing to Israel. It is the humans that will come together to Rock4Israel!

Jay Gore

JAY GORE – MUSIC DIRECTOR

G: I chose Jay to be on the Board of Directors and Music Director because of his work ethic and he is a badass guitar player who can play anything! He’s been immersed in the LA rock scene since boyhood and spread his demonic wings into all genres of music. His greatest influence is Eddie Van Halen and that’s good enough for me! (ask him to play any Van Halen song, see what happens!) Just for fun he plays in the the best Journey tribute band in the country! And ladies, he is a Jewish, single and a professional musician. If you think you can handle that then go for it! You can read his more polished and professional bio below, but I think I’ve said it all!

Jay Gore first picked up the guitar at the age of 8. Today he is a leading guitarist and in-demand session player in Los Angeles. For over nine years you’ve seen, Jay, performing next to saxophone great, Mindi Abair.
